Terms of Service

Indemnity
First and foremost, the Doula will not give medical advice or treatment to baby, mother, or any one else. We are not qualified to give such advice. You will be required to sign a full indemnity before finalization of arrangements occurs. The Doula will do no work until such times as the indemnity is signed.
Costs
There is an eight (8) day minimum which you will be charged a per day rate agreed upon (to be paid in prearranged increments or on completion of the time requested).
Travel
Rates and tariffs will be discussed upon signing of the contract but they do include travelling charges at AA approved rates.
Other
If you have a toddler that is not included in the agreed price and you choose to have your Baby Doula care for your toddler, you will be charged an extra R100 a day. Your Baby's Doula is not a maid. The Doula’s job description is on our webpage.
Passionate Births Introductory Service
We charge a R500 introduction fee that is non-refundable when we arrange for a Doula not employed by Passionate Births to be with you. This fee ensures you will have a Doula at the date you requested whether your baby arrives early, on time or late. Once you have been introduced to your Doula, Passionate Births is no longer involved in any financial arrangements you make.

If you agree to the initial terms of this agreement, check the box. If you have any queries, please call us on 0845507218.

What I Do

I am living my dream while working with mums and babies. I see mums when they are 34 weeks pregnant and then go to their homes once they go into labour. I stay for the full duration of the labour and after the birth I assist them with breast feeding. I do another visit after the birth to see that all is well and to help where I can.  Mums are always welcome to call me in the event that they have any questions, whether before or after the birth. I am passionate about my work as a doula and I care and love all the families with which I work. Once you have been present at a birth you feel part of the family and it’s wonderful to hear news of the new baby’s life as he or she grows.
